Portable scanner for fast document scanbacks
Laptop or tablet with internet access

Ample letter and legal-size paper

What We Look For in a Notary Partner

We are selective because our clients count on us for flawless, compliant, and professional signings. To be considered, please ensure the following are in place on your NotaryDash profile:

Professional Presentation

A clear, professional photo. We want to see your smile! (no pets, family, filters, or avatars.)
A well-written, concise bio that includes:
- Your notary experience (PT or FT. How long?).
- Specific Certifications (NNA, LSS, etc.)
- Any relevant training (My Notary Academy, Loan Signings, Trust Delivery, etc.).
- Areas of expertise: real estate documents, reverse mortgages, legal docs, estate plan signings, etc.
- Service area (city/county/state).
- Are you near your states border and Dual Commissioned?
- Languages spoken other than English.
- RON Platforms.

Equipment & Readiness

Access to a Dual Tray Laser Printer, able to print both Legal and Letter size paper according to pdf page size.
High-capacity high-speed desktop Scanner (not a phone scanner app).
Mobile Printer and Scanner in your vehicle.
A reliable internet connection, webcam, and microphone for remote online notarizations.
Ability to return clear scanbacks in a timely manner, using our secure portal.
Current Notary Stamp that makes a clear complete impression and is photographically reproducible (does not blur, or smudge).

Required Documentation

Valid Current Notary Commission issued by your Secretary of State's office.
Notary Bond (per your state requirements).
Current Background Check (within 1 year required for all real estate signings).
Errors & Omissions Insurance coverage ($100k preferred).
Current Driver License.
Current W9 for this year.
Title Producers License (IN, MD).
Closing Agent License (MN).
NNA Notary Signing Agent Certification.

Can I do both mobile and remote notarizations?

Yes! If you're certified and equipped for both, that’s a big plus. You’ll need a reliable internet connection, webcam, microphone, and a secure digital environment for Remote Online Notarization (RON).

How do I get paid for signings?

We offer competitive compensation and prompt, transparent payments. Payment timelines and details will be shared once you’re onboarded. We process payments consistently and keep communication open every step of the way.

Will I need to provide my own equipment?

Yes. We expect all notaries to be self-sufficient with tools like a mobile printer and scanner for in-person signings, or appropriate technology for remote signings. High-quality, reliable tools are key to accuracy and client satisfaction.
